Shortly after the show ended in 2022, avid fans couldn't help but wish for a second season.
Reports of the show getting a second season first came out on Naver in August 2023. According to the report, the cast of the second season is set to start production in the second half of this year.
When is Weak Hero Class 1 Season 2 Coming Out?
If things go according to plan, the second season of Weak Hero Class 1 could come out in the latter part of 2024. But this will all depend on the show's scheduling.
Hopefully, there won't be any delays so that the second season can make its premiere right away.
Who Will Star in Weak Hero Class 1 Season 2?
Reports reveal that the main cast of the show could be back to reprise their roles. This includes the following actors:
- Park Ji-hoon as Yeon Si-eun: Of course, he is the lead character and it would be a shame not to see him reprise his role. You may remember him from Love Revolution and Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency.
- Choi Hyun-wook as Ahn Su-ho: This is unconfirmed since the first season ended with him in a coma. Other than Weak Hero Class 1, Hyun-wook is most famous for his roles in D.P. 2, Taxi Driver, and Twenty-Five Twenty-One.
- Hong Kyung as Oh Beom-seok: We'll likely see Beom-seok return, especially if he feels guilty for what he did to his friends. He is famous for starring in Revenant, D.P., and School 2017.
As for the rest of the cast, there will likely be a new set of characters. Kpopmap reported that the role of Park Hoo-min (or Ben Park in the English webtoon) has been offered to Ryeoun.

What Will Weak Hero Class 1 Season 2 Be About?
It's important to note that the first season of Weak Hero Class 1 ended where its source material started. This is why many consider the first season of the Kdrama to be a prequel to the action drama, which will lead to so much more in the future.
With the confirmation of a second season, its story could follow the webtoon with Si-eun transferring to another school in Yeongdeungpo.
In the webtoon, Si-eun has trouble getting into any of the Seoul schools because of Beom-seok's father, a wealthy assemblyman.
The second season of Weak Hero Class 1 will likely explore how Si-eun earns the title of Eunjang's White Mamba.
