Bryan Cranston is an actor who was raised by his grandparents. This is because both his parents were actors.

He graduated from Canoga Park High School. After that, he proceeded to take up a degree in police science at the Los Angeles Valley College. At that time, Cranston dreamed of becoming a cop.

When he chose to take an acting class as an elective, this decision changed his life forever. The class inspired him to pursue acting, just as his parents did before.

After college, Cranston pursued acting by starring in local and regional theaters. His parents, however, wanted his son to not get involved in this profession. This made him decide to pursue acting much later.

When he turned 19, he got ordained as a minister. To help support his income on Catalina Island, Cranston performed weddings for a fee.

He also did side gigs as a waiter and night-shift security guard for a private LA community, a CCTV security guard, and a camera operator for a dating service.
