Some deaths shocked the holy world in Warrior Nun Season 2.
Warrior Nun is a Netflix original series that was inspired by Benn Dunn’s graphic novel Warrior Nun Areala. The first season of the series premiered on July 2020, with season 2 coming out two years later, on November 2022.

Warrior Nun Season 1 ended with Ava learning that Adriel, the one they thought to be an angel, was actually a demon. This is where the series' second season picks up, as we follow Warrior Nun Ava, Sister Beatrice, and the rest of the sisters as they battle against the forces of evil.
Adriel’s re-emergence caused quite a stir, dividing the people into those who believe he is a divine deity and those who are skeptical of his claims. He uses his followers' prayers' energy to build an underground arc, as they built a church (more like a cult) of people who turned out to be possessed by demons.
His ultimate goal was to summon demons and invade the Earth.
Adriel’s plans continue to grow, eventually demanding the Pope and the Vatican recognize him as an angel and a holy deity.
Ava and Miguel face off with Adriel, Lilith, and the demons, but they are soon overwhelmed.

Who Dies in Warrior Nun Season 2?
Death is part of any war, and the holy war to protect Earth is no exception.
Miguel Dies
Ava and Miguel plan to stop Adriel using the bomb in Miguel, but Adriel is strong and manages to weaken them. Ava watches as demons are summoned, and they bring Adriel’s previous master, Reya to Earth. As it turns out, Adriel plans to trap Reya in the arc to be completely free.
Ava manages to detonate the bomb, which kills Miguel.
Adriel Dies
The bomb does no damage to Adriel but Ava has one more trick up her sleeve. She gives off a signal from the halo, calling the Tarasks.
Tarasks are the gatekeepers of the other realm, the realm where Adriel comes from. They are the sworn protectors of Reya.
When they were summoned, the Tarasks confront Adriel who was powerless against them. As the only creatures who can actually kill Adriel, they tear him piece by piece, ending his terror for good.
By the end of Warrior Nun Season 3, the deaths of Miguel and Adriel are the most significant so far.
