The survivors of Avengers: Infinity War are clearly stepping up their game this year. It looks like War Machine will be getting a major upgrade and getting his War Destroyer ready in Avengers: Endgame.
The leak comes from the title of a LEGO set for Endgame that was shared on Instagram. The post doesn't come with an image of the merchandise itself but it's pretty obvious what fans will be getting later this year.
The War Destroyer could be an awesome thing to find in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After all, War Machine uses it as one of his Hyper Combos in the game Marvel vs. Capcom. The combo makes use of several rockets that are launched into the sky then dropped onto his opponent. Needless to say, we're hoping to see James Rhodes try this move on Thanos this April.
If the War Destroyer does show up in Endgame, it's hardly the only Marvel vs Capcom weapon that has been reported to be featured in the film. There have been speculations that Iron Man will be bringing in the Proton Cannon in the movie. Interestingly, both Iron Man and War Machine can use this particular Hyper Combo. However, there has been no confirmation about the weapons from Marvel Studios so we would recommend taking this with a grain of salt.
Avengers: Endgame is set to be the final MCU film featuring Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man. The movie will hit theaters on April 26.
