While people are getting mixed feelings about Sony's upcoming Venom film, a lot of people are in agreement that the character looks absolutely awesome. Thanks to USA Today, we get a new promo shot of Venom showing off his crazy teeth.

Director Ruben Fleischer also had this to say about the dynamic between Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) and the symbiote. He says:
"In the classic Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde thing, he's the real Hyde. He'll rip somebody's head off and eat their brains. There's this forbidden-fruit quality of this guy who will just do whatever he wants."
While a lot of people were onboard with the first look of Venom, some people were scratching their heads with some of the dialogue from the latest trailer. It's just so odd to give a full monologue to someone about becoming a ‘turd in the wind.' Then again, I have a feeling it's dialogue that stays very faithful to the comic character.
A lot of people don't like the ‘so many snacks' line, but that one was lifted straight from the comics.
Will Venom be a hit? I guess we'll just have to wait and find out. Catch Venom in theaters Oct. 5.
