Uncle from Another World Episode 13 Finally Gets a March Release Date

It has been well over a month now since the show’s finale was delayed, and finally, Uncle from Another World Episode 13 has an official release date.

Originally scheduled to release on December 29, the show’s finale was delayed due to a rise in COVID-19 cases among staff members who worked on the show.

This wasn’t the only delay to the anime though as the series experienced multiple delays over the past couple of months, most of which were due to COVID.

Uncle from Another World Delay History

Uncle from Another World premiered in the Summer 22 season alongside shows like Lycoris Recoil and Overlord IV. Though it got delayed multiple times in August due to a rise in COVID cases within the studio.

Because of this, the series was aired again starting from Episode 1 on October 6, effectively making it a Fall 22 anime.

Things were finally looking up for the show as the rest of the episodes were aired without any issues, but that was until the final episode was set to air.

Ahead of Episode 13’s release, the show’s production committee announced yet another delay, this time because of the rise of COVID cases in China in December.

As with many anime shows, Uncle from Another World is worked on by outsourced animators in China, hence the delay. Since then, there was no announcement yet regarding the finale’s release.

Finally, Episode 13 has an official release date, though fans will still need to wait a few weeks before it gets released.

Uncle from Another World Finale Release Date

The series’ March return was revealed via an announcement on the show’s official website and Twitter account.

There, it was stated that the finale will air on AT-X first on March 8, followed by a release on other networks and Netflix.

To coincide with the announcement, a new preview for Uncle from Another World Episode 13 was announced, which you can watch here:

Currently, only the show’s first seven episodes are available on Netflix as the platform did not release the other episodes following the August delay.

It is expected that the rest of the episodes will be released on Netflix this March.

This show isn’t the only anime to be affected by delays recently as Winter 23 was rocked by several postponements, including shows like Ayakashi Triangle and Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible.
