In a world teeming with ayakashi, childhood friends Suzu and Matsuri are among the few who can see and interact with them. But as they grew older, Suzu and Matsuri developed differing views on the ayakashi. Amidst the danger of the ayakashi, do Suzu and Matsuri end up together in Ayakashi Triangle?

Does Matsuri Like Suzu?
Matsuri Kazamaki is in love with his childhood friend, Suzu Kanade. He adores her so much that he is willing to kill any ayakashi who comes close to Suzu, including Shirogane, the Ayakashi King.
He has admired Suzu since they were children. Back then, Matsuri was terrified of the ayakashi who pursued him all the time, but after witnessing Suzu acting like a boss to the ayakashi, he began to respect her.
Similar to Suzu, Matsuri grew fond of the ayakashi over time, but when he learned the truth from his grandfather, everything changed.
Not only did he begin to avoid Suzu, but he also began to dislike the ayakashi.
For Matsuri, the ayakashi who comes close to Suzu has ulterior motives since his childhood friend is an ayakashi medium.
This simply means that the ayakashi only hangs out with Suzu because of the rich Haku that emanates from her body.
Matsuri goes above and beyond to ensure that no ayakashi poses a threat to Suzu.
He will go so far as to eliminate Shirogane, despite the consequences of living in a girl's body indefinitely.
He also respects Suzu so much that he’s willing to do anything for her, even if he acts stubbornly in front of her.
From becoming friends with Suzu’s friends to taking in Shirogane as a pet, Matsuri will do the best he can to keep Suzu happy and at peace.

Does Suzu Like Matsuri?
Yes, Suzu still likes Matsuri, even though he's turned into a voluptuous girl with a big chest and butt.
Since she was young, Suzu was treated as an outcast by the other children, particularly her classmates, because she was not a typical girl.
But when Matsuri appeared, Suzu gained a friend who understood what she was going through with the ayakashi.
There wasn't a day that Suzu didn't have fun with the ayakashi, even if it means only Matsuri understood her.
Suzu had held Matsuri close to her heart ever since they became friends, but everything changed when Matsuri became an exorcist ninja.
Because of their opposing ideologies, they began fighting and stopped hanging out.
Thankfully, Suzu realized why Matsuri began to change after Shirogane appeared in front of them.
It was a chaotic incident, but they were able to reunite and hang out again, even though Matsuri had turned into a girl.
Suzu gave Matsuri her full support after he transformed into a girl.
While Suzu is concerned that Matsuri will not return to his original gender, she is willing to date the female Matsuri if it means staying with him forever.

Do Suzu and Matsuri End Up Together?
The Ayakashi Triangle manga is still ongoing, but given how the series has built their relationship from the beginning, Suzu and Matsuri are most likely going to end up together.
Childhood friends with special feelings for each other are not uncommon, especially in the case of Suzu and Matsuri, who are both protective of each other.
Despite their opposing ideologies and frequent clashes, Suzu and Matsuri complement each other very well, even after Matsuri experienced a gender crisis.
Most importantly, if one of them gets into trouble, they will always have each other's back, no matter what. This is why Shirogane is so disgusted by their lovey-dovey behavior at the expense of his true form.
Suzu and Matsuri are aware that they have romantic feelings for each other as of writing.
While Matsuri wishes to return to his male body before officially dating Suzu, the latter believes that dating Matsuri is permissible even if he does not return to his original body.
