Stardust Telepath is a comedy, supernatural, and yuri anime that revolves around four high school girls who want to build a rocket to go to outer space. One of them is Umika Konohoshi, who believes that she can befriend more aliens like Akeuchi than Earthlings. As the plot unfolds, do Umika and Akeuchi end up together in Stardust Telepath?

Umika and Akeuchi: An Interspecies Romance
Umika Konohoshi is not like any other Japanese high school girl. She struggles to make friends, interact, and converse with others, making her an outcast.
Her communication skills are abysmal, and whenever she attempts to open up to people, nothing comes out of her mouth.
Worse, she chokes, and her face turns bright red. Nonetheless, Umika feels that someone out there will listen to her.
She also feels that this person is from another planet, so she fantasizes about a bright and glittering environment where her words, ideas, and emotions can reach him or her.
One night, Umika spots a shooting star, and she wishes so hard to have someone whom she can be friends with.
After all, Umika won’t give up until she finds someone she can befriend or somewhere she can feel comfortable and be herself.
The following day, Umika encounters a self-proclaimed alien named Yu Akeuchi, who declares that her spaceship crashed, hence her late attendance.
Unlike Umika, Akeuchi is carefree and outgoing, which is why others, including Umika, gravitate toward her.
Umika simply wants to be close to Akeuchi since she believes she is an alien. She mustered all of her confidence to approach Akeuchi, who was perplexed by Umika's conduct and behavior.
Despite this, Akeuchi eagerly befriends Umika, and the two have been inseparable since.
Umika gradually learns the truth about Akeuchi. She lives in an abandoned lighthouse, praying for someone to come and take her home.
She has no recollection of her life before Earth, and her space voyage diary makes no sense.
She decided to assist Akeuchi after hearing this. She promises to build a rocket that they can all hop on and ride to Akeuchi's planet someday.
Do Umika and Akeuchi End Up Together?
Umika and Akeuchi have yet to end up together in Stardust Telepath.
They are close friends, but there’s obvious romantic tension between the two of them, which might suggest that they will become a couple by the end of the series.
Akeuchi made Umika feel something completely different from anyone she had ever known on Earth. Her existence pierced Umika’s heart just like a ray gun in an instant.
Whenever she’s with Akeuchi, the anxiety in her heart always eases. She also feels as if all the things she could never do before suddenly became possible.
These new feelings were very confusing to Umika, who couldn’t understand why she wanted to tell Akeuchi everything about herself, including her dreams for the future.
She sees Akeuchi as an amazingly carefree, kind, and strong girl. She’s also willing to do her best to become strong enough to support Akeuchi and her unfortunate situation.
On the other hand, Akeuchi has a soft heart for Umika. She also thinks that they are connected by their honest thoughts and feelings.
