In Rise of the Beasts, the Autobots and the Maximals battle against the Terrorcons while trying to obtain the Transwarp Key that could bring Optimus Prime and his people back to Cybertron.

They are assisted by two humans: an ex-military electronics expert named Noah, and an artifact researcher named Elena. They also wish to protect Earth from the villain Unicron who eats planets to survive.

In the mid-credits scene of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, Noah manages to repair his buddy, Mirage.

It can be recalled that Mirage seemingly dies after protecting Noah from Scourge. While it appears that Mirage is “gone”, he suddenly wakes up and says that Noah and his brother Kris are so cute.

Mirage then tells Noah that he should “take over the wheel” and transforms into Noah’s exosuit.

In the mid-credits scene, Noah’s friend, Reek, comes into the garage and apologizes for their attempt to steal rich people’s cars and leaving Noah.

Noah shares that his car (Mirage) is special. Later on, Mirage transforms in front of Reek, and this surprises the latter.

The mid-credits scene does not appear to be as surprising as the ending of the film where a G.I. Joe business card appears. But it’s still something worth the wait.

Additionally, while we do not know much yet about the sequel to Transformers: Rise of the Beasts (which is confirmed to be a trilogy), we do know that another Transformers film is coming next year.

The next Transformers film, which is an animated prequel, is titled “Transformers One”. The film is set to be released on September 13, 2024.
