To celebrate the manga’s ending, an emotional new video for Tokyo Revengers was released that marks the series’ final chapter. This new video was shared online on the Shonen Magazine's official YouTube channel.
In case you missed it, the Tokyo Revengers manga ended just recently, with the final chapter being released in the latest Weekly Shonen Magazine issue.
Tokyo Revengers Manga Ending
In case you’re unfamiliar, Tokyo Revengers is a manga by Ken Wakui that was serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine.
It is one of the most popular manga in Japan with over 65 million copies in circulation.
Further boosting its popularity during the manga’s run is the TV anime adaptation by Liden Films. The anime’s first season consisted of 24 episodes and aired from April to September 2021.
Given the show’s popularity, the anime was renewed for a second season which will adapt the Christmas Showdown Arc.
While there is no episode count revealed yet, it is confirmed to release in 2023.
As for the manga’s ending, it proved to be a divisive one for many international fans.
When fans outside Japan got to read the latest chapter, many reacted negatively to the series’ long-awaited conclusion.
Without going into spoiler territory, the series’ ending was a happy one for most of the characters, albeit it was achieved through some time travel shenanigans.
Because of this, fans complained online about how the manga’s ending was not satisfying as it felt rushed.
Though there are fans who were satisfied with the ending as they liked seeing a happy conclusion for the cast.

The new video that was released marked the ending of the hit manga series. It features somber music that’s played while some iconic manga panels from the series are shown.

While this marks the series’ end, it is only for the manga, as the anime's second season is still set to release sometime in 2023, giving fans more content to watch out for.
Along with the anime, there’s also another Tokyo Revengers live-action movie that will be released next year.
Though much like the anime, there’s no word yet about a specific release date.
