Three 'Avengers' Stars Named Oscar Presenters

Marvel is everywhere these days but the company could be bigger than ever this year. Not only are we getting Avengers: Endgame, which will be the climax of everything Marvel has built up to since Avengers, but it's also the year that the company could win an Oscar for Best Picture. It's debatable if Black Panther should win an Oscar since the film is great for Marvel standards but probably doesn't compare to others in terms of quality.

It looks like the Academy is starting to feel Marvelous as well since it was announced that three Avengers stars will be presenting some of the awards. Chris "Captain America" Evans, Brie "Captain Marvel" Larson, and Tessa "Valkyrie" Thompson are going to be presenting a few of the Oscars.

As usual, the show will be star-studded so don't expect these Avengers stars to be the only headliners. In addition to the three Marvel stars, the first wave of Academy Awards presenters includes Awkwafina, Daniel Craig, Tina Few, Whoopi Goldberg, Jennifer Lopez, Amy Pohler, Maya Rudolph, Amandla Stenberg, Charlize Theron, Constance Wu, and Gustavo Dudamel.

Will Black Panther actually win an Oscar? We'll have to wait and see. The fact that the film isn't up for certain awards - like Best Director - doesn't bode well for the movie. Then again, weirder things have happened. Crash won an Oscar once for Pete's sake.

Avengers: Endgame comes out on April 26.
