The X-Men and Iron Fist Join Spider-Man in Marvel's Typhoid Fever Mini-Series

When Typhoid Fever: Spider-Man #1was first solicited, fans were waiting for the inevitable Typhoid Fever one-shots that would focus on the X-Men and Iron Fist. The inevitable has come, as Marvel has announced Typhoid Fever: X-Men #1 and Typhoid Fever: Iron Fist #1. As teased previously, all three covers connect with each other, though the arm of Colossus has since been replaced with Bishop.

Drawn by R.B. Silva, the connecting cover is a pretty cool one with Mary herself in the center with the X-Men. Her two blades can be seen on Spider-Man and Iron Fist's covers, so that's a neat touch. Expect these one-shots to come out on November and December respectively, unless both issues are coming out on November.

Not much is known about the story, aside from Daredevil being too busy to deal with Mary since he is trying to oust Wilson Fisk from his Mayor position. Thankfully, Spider-Man, X-Men Red, and Iron Fist are on the job.

Mary has regained some prominence since she will be appearing in Iron Fist season two, played by Star Trek: Into Darkness actress Alice Eve. It's no surprise that she'll be taking on Danny Rand in this three-part series but adding Spider-Man and the X-Men should make it feel like less of a tie-in to the Netflix series.

Typhoid Fever: Spider-Man #1 comes out in October.
