When Will the English Dub of The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 Episode 9 Be Released?
Based on previous episode releases, we expect The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 Episode 9’s English dub to be released on Wednesday, June 29.
The English dub of The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 was announced in early May, with the first episode premiering on May 4.
Episode 5’s English dub is expected to air on the same day as episode 9’s subtitled release. New episodes of the Shield Hero dub are expected weekly.

Titled Humming Fairy, The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 Episode 9 should see what’s left of Naofumi’s group arrive in Sikul, and the introduction of more new characters.
Episode 8 of The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 continued the series’ steady upward trajectory, especially since the ill-fated Spirit Tortoise Arc.
Similar to episode 7, episode 8 felt like a complete isekai fantasy adventure with a good mix of videogame mechanics, fun characters, world-building and some drama.
We still have no idea how everyone’s going to be brought together just yet. Filo is still nowhere to be found, although if I was to speculate, the title Humming Fairy might suggest that the Filolial makes some kind of appearance in episode 9?

Regardless of what happens next, the story is finely poised with a few different ideas in play. It might be a bit early to say the story is back to its best, but it’s certainly a notable improvement on the terrible first half of Shield Hero Season 2.
