The Marvels is part of the MCU Phase 5, following the release of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, and Guardians and the Galaxy Vol. 3, and afterwards, Captain America: New World Order. Although there hasn’t been any official announcements yet on the Captain Marvel sequel getting their first trailer, a new merchandise has just revealed new suits on our 3 Captain Marvels!
A new Little Golden Books release features Carol Danvers, Monica Rambeau, and Kamala Khan teasing the highly anticipated team-up, as well as them sporting their new albeit signature suits in the film! Check out the tweet from Big Screen Leaks below:
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: The Marvels Merch Reveals New Suit of Monica Rambeau
While Carol Danvers’ and Kamala Khan’s supersuits already indicate their signature Captain Marvel colors of red, yellow, and blue, Monica Rambeau’s stands out in being in white and black form, the similar super suit we saw on her back in a November 2022 merchandise from UM Portal Geek on Instagram in which the merch features Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, Iman Vellani as Ms. Marvel, and Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, in a similar black and white palette.
Given that Monica Rambeau had just discovered her powers by the ending of WandaVision, her own signature look has been long overdue. Now that she is bound to team up with the other two Captain Marvels, the dynamic continues, which is similar to the official synopsis of The Marvels.
The Marvels may have yet to release their trailer, but according to the synopsis, we will be seeing the three Captain Marvels venture into the multiverse to save the universe. Brie Larson had also previously mentioned how teaming up with Ms. Marvel and Monica would show a different side of Carol we have never seen before.
