This fall, the next MCU film The Marvels is slated to arrive in theaters which will see Carol Danvers, Kamala Khan, and Monica Rambeau team up (and switch places) for a cosmic adventure and save the universe from the villainous Dar-Benn.

While fans are looking forward to seeing how the events of the film could have ramifications on the ongoing arc of the Multiverse Saga, they are more excited to see the three heroes come together especially since Kamala idolizes Danvers as established in Ms. Marvel.

Now, as we're a few months away from its scheduled release in theaters, we have a new teaser that highlights the three heroes' respective journeys prior to the events of the new film.

New The Marvels Teaser Highlights the Heroes' Previous Journey in the MCU

Today, Marvel Studios released a new teaser for The Marvels that mostly highlighted the previous appearances of the main heroes in past MCU films and TV shows.

While there were a couple of seconds of new footage in the upcoming film in addition to the scenes that were featured in past trailers, the majority of the teaser was dedicated to showing the heroes' respective journeys prior to their team-up.

They first recapped Carol Danvers' journey in Captain Marvel. It is followed by Monica Rambeau where they showed footage from both Captain Marvel and WandaVision. Lastly, they showed Kamala Khan's journey in Ms. Marvel, her only MCU appearance so far.

The last part of the two-minute teaser was a montage of the several scenes that we're expecting to see in the film.

Despite being mostly archive footage of the films and TV shows that we've seen before, it is still great promotional material since it recaps past projects that the audience should be familiar with prior to watching the new film.

As the MCU continues to expand and perhaps confuses some of the audience with so many TV shows that now exist, it is important for them to release teasers like this to help the general audience learn about the characters' past journeys without the need to do the homework.

It also looks like Disney is staying with the November release date which has been in question ever since the strike commenced since the cast won't be able to promote the film if it lasts until that point.

With this new teaser, it is clear that Disney and Marvel Studios are now in the earlier stages of their marketing campaign and it is likely that they will release more materials in the next few weeks.

The Marvels is currently set to arrive in theaters this November 10.
