Kelsey Grammer made a surprise cameo appearance in the mid-credits scene of The Marvels where he reprised the role of Dr. Hank McCoy/Beast from the Fox X-Men movies.

A lot of fans who watched the film in theaters were happy to see the Emmy winner return to reprise the role even for just a brief moment and they were hoping that they'll see more of him in the future.

Considering that the MCU is in the Multiverse Saga, there is certainly room for Grammer to return in a future project such as Deadpool 3 where several actors from the Fox Marvel movies are also expected to make appearances including Hugh Jackman's Wolverine.

Following the film's release, the actor addressed his surprise cameo and opened up about his potential next appearance.

In an interview with TheWrap back in November, Grammer addressed his surprise cameo appearance in The Marvels where he expressed his hope that he will reprise the role again in the future.

"It is my hope that you will [see him again]. I can say with a certain amount of confidence that you will. I would love to," he said.

The Emmy winner also shared that he was "very pleased" with the responses that he received on his cameo and "a lot of people got in touch" with him when the film was released.

Grammer added, "I’ve always wanted to play him again. I see him as an extraordinary character, a real character of gravitas and importance in our culture. I’m delighted Beast is back and hope he’s back in a real way."

A lot of MCU fans also felt the same way when Grammer's Beast showed up in the mid-credits scene of The Marvels and they definitely wouldn't mind seeing him appear again in the future whether it's Deadpool 3 or another film.

It also sounds like the actor is ready to make more appearances in the role and it helps that he is performing the role through voice work now since he has become a CGI character based on his scene in the film.

Let's wait and see what will happen in the future regarding Grammer's next MCU appearances, but the mid-credits scene certainly suggested that it was the beginning of his comeback.

So far, Marvel Studios remains mum on their plans surrounding the actor's future appearances.

The Marvels is set to begin streaming on Disney+ this February 7.
