One of the much-awaited movies for the fourth phase of the MCU began filming as Brie Larson, the actress who portrays Captain Marvel reveals in a short video clip that the production is already rolling for the sequel, The Marvels.

A short clip posted on Twitter by The Marvels News, shows a video of none other than Captain Marvel herself, Brie Larson, as she breaks down her schedule for the filming and the various new locations where it would take place, including the sci-fi feels of each place. She admitted that her working hours began quite early.

Larson said, "It's not that big of a deal, it's surreal though. I mean when you're doing films like this, they're unlike anything else you know. Huge sets, huge amount of people on set. A lot of specialists, specialty things. It's a really unique experience."

She added, "I'm a huge fan of Disneyland and so to me, it feels like I get to go my own like, private Disneyland everyday, cause they're building these insane worlds that like, no one else knows about, no one else gets to see... you'll see it when the movie comes out but for now it's just mine."

Larson also shared how she feels fortunate to be part of the MCU, having the role of Carol Danvers/ Captain Marvel, "I was pretty sure that, like, I was going to be like a side character in Indie movies for the rest of my life and I was like, 'That's great.' Like I was just so excited about that future."

She explained further, "so this is beyond my expectations and so I'm pretty just happy and stoked every day. I don't find it to be that hard. There's time. These movies are quite epic to make. They take so many months. There's many times to get tired and frustrated but right now I don't know. I feel... pretty happy every day."

The Marvels is the sequel to Captain Marvel where Carol Danvers would be teaming up with other Marvels such as Kamala Khan who is about to get her own series becoming Ms. Marvel, and Monica Rambeau who we first saw as a child in the first film of Danvers, and got her powers when she broke into Westview in WandaVision.

Considering that such a team-up is about to happen, it would also expand the MCU into a whole new level having these heroines take the lead in their very own film. As for Ms. Marvel, while it was supposed to debut in the latter half of 2021, it has been recently announced that the series may be delayed to 2022, possibly due to various pushbacks on the schedules of the shows following the pandemic.

It is expected that Captain Marvel would take the lead and with two powerful ladies with her, the film is expected to be another action-packed movie like the first one. It has also been speculated that the film is setting up the stage for the arrival of Secret Invasion, but with the details of the movie still in the shadows, it's too early to tell.

The Marvels is scheduled for release on November 11, 2022, starring Brie Larson, Iman Vellani, and Teyonah Parris.
