The Mandalorian: Life-Size Replica of Razor Crest Gets Wrecked by Windstorm

Star Wars fans were blown away after avid fans of The Mandalorian teamed up to create an astonishing life-size replica of the Razor Crest, Din Djarin's trusty ship. The said replica caught the attention of mainstream media last month and according to reports, Ayaal Fyodorov and his peers created the ship which is 47 feet long and 13 feet high (14 meters by 4 meters) and weighs more than a ton.

In an ironic twist of fate, the impressive replica which cost roughly $10,000 to build suffered the same fate as Mando's actual ship in the show which was decimated with one blow by Moff Gideon's light cruiser. In the replica's case, a strong wind storm in Siberia was responsible for its demise.

Reddit user Don_Rumata_Estorsky confirmed the destruction of the replica ship and posted a gif image of the Razor Crest being flipped over by strong winds. While it didn't suffer the same damage as Mando's ship which was literally shattered to bits, I gotta tell you, it's still a heartbreaking sight to behold. Check it out here:

Speaking of the Razor Crest, it'll be interesting to see if we'll ever see it back in the StarWars universe now that all that's left of it is the gear knob Baby Yoda had a lot of fun playing with. Season 3 of The Mandalorian could definitely bring a newly constructed version of the cruiser back but I'm guessing Din Djarin will introduce us to a new ship because let's face it, despite its glorious physical appearance, the Crest had a lot of issues. Let's just see what happens.

The Mandalorian's third season will begin filming this month.
