The LEGO Movie to Stream for Free on Youtube to Promote the Sequel

The LEGO Movie was a huge hit when it came out back in 2014, and next year will see the release of the sequel, The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part. As a promotion for Black Friday, WB is making it so the first film will be available to watch on Youtube.

According to Variety, you can catch The LEGO Movie for free on Youtube by searching "Brick Friday" and clicking on the ad that says Stream for Free—All Day Today Only.

Of course, the move is only done to promote the release of the sequel. The new trailer was just dropped yesterday, and having the movie streamed right after would be sure to get fans in the mood for some more of Emmett and Lucy's adventures.

As for the sequel, you have most of the main players coming back. Chris Pratt and Elizabeth Banks are back as Emmet and Lucy, as well as Alison Brie (UniKitty), Nick Offerman (Metalbeard), and Will Arnett (Batman). There's also new voices in the form of Tiffany Haddish (Queen Watevra Wa-Nabi) and Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn).

It's been five years since everything was awesome and the citizens are facing a huge new threat: LEGO DUPLO® invaders from outer space, wrecking everything faster than they can rebuild.

The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part comes out Feb. 8, 2019.
