Although Bella Ramsey and Pedro Pascal were having fun working on Episodes 5 and 6, things aren't looking too good for Joel and Ellie in the latest episode. In The Last of Us Episode 7, Joel is still seriously injured and Ellie is desperate to find a way to help him. While looking for medicine, she takes time to reminisce about her best friend Riley.

The episode also confirms that Riley became a Firefly and was about to leave Boston when she took Ellie to an abandoned mall. Although the two have a great time, their fun leads to tragedy when they are both attacked by an Infected who bites the girls. Riley then suggests that they should wait things out until the infection takes but knowing that Ellie is immune, things could get truly tragic next week.
