There is little doubt that filming action sequences is tough, especially for the actors involved. Unfortunately, some accidents can happen, and it did for Bella Ramsey while she was working on The Last of Us Episode 5. Interestingly, the former Game of Thrones star revealed that she didn't mind since she "had a great time."
In The Last of Us Episode 5, the faceoff between Sam and Kathleen was interrupted by the Infected as they emerged from the ground and attacked everyone in the area. It was a chaotic scene as Clickers went after anyone and everyone including Ellie.
Although Ellie managed to escape along with Joel, Henry and Sam, Bella Ramsey didn't actually leave unscathed during filming. While speaking to IGN, the Catherine Called Birdy star revealed she was injured while working on the sequence.
"It was incredibly stressful but in a way that felt amazing. I got so many bruises. I actually got a real black eye at one point," Ramsey recalled, stating that it was an accident.
"Accidentally, the poor guy whacks me in the eye. I was so proud of it, " she added. "I had a great time."
We're glad to know that Bella Ramsey didn't mind being hit in the face while working on The Last of Us Episode 5. After all, accidents can happen and luckily, her injuries weren't serious. Needless to say, we can't wait to see Ellie in action again in the upcoming episodes.
But is it possible that we'll get to see Ellie hunting in the next episode? The images from The Last of Us Episode 6 feature Joel and Ellie roasting something over a fire. Those who are familiar with the game believe this could be the aftermath of a scene from the game that went viral due to a Twitch user's reaction.
The Last of Us Episode 6 is titled Kin and is set to premiere on HBO Max on Sunday, February 19, 2023.
