And through the years, Young Soon has become to a different person. She was no longer the cheerful youngster that she used to be.
This transformation, however, impacted Kang Ho. Even though she changed to make sure her son would grow up to be strong and powerful, it made him hate her all his life.
In episode two, Kang Ho even reveals that he never got the chance to sit down and enjoy a good meal with his mother. He also talked about how she always made her feel suffocated when he was still in school.
There's also that incident when Young Soon kicked him out of their house for missing the entrance exam to attend to Lee Mi Joo (played by Ahn Eun Jin), who met an accident.
Kang Ho shared that Chairman Song has been raising him all along, which explains why Kang Ho gave his mother adoption documents to sign.
