There is little doubt that the cast of The Flash worked together long before Ezra Miller became embroiled in several legal issues but discussing the troubled actor is still a touchy subject. Nevertheless, Sasha Calle managed to expertly dodge a question about Miller in a recent interview.
The Flash's Supergirl Actor Refuses To Discuss Ezra Miller
Sasha Calle was recently interviewed by the New York Times for the premiere of The Flash and like most of the film's cast and crew, she was asked about her experience working with Ezra Miller.
Interestingly, the Supergirl actor chose to avoid the question altogether and spoke about the people she worked closely with in the film.
"I spent a lot of time with my stunt team from the moment I arrived to the moment I left," Calle said. "And it was incredible being with my stunt team."
"I can't not talk about them," she added. "I swear to you, they were my family through and through."
It's an expert move and it's great to know that Sasha Calle had the full support of the stunt team on The Flash.
Although Calle is avoiding questions about Ezra Miller, she is clearly hoping to continue playing Supergirl in the future. In a previous interview, Calle expressed her hopes that Kara Zor-El will be featured in James Gunn's upcoming DC Universe projects.
"I hope to continue playing Supergirl. I love her deeply! And I think that [The Flash] is really a runway to a bigger story for her," Calle said.
"We don't really get to experience [her] a lot. I feel like this is a runway to a bigger story," she continued.
Calle also suggested the best possible project for her character.
"Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow is an incredible comic. I love it. I think it's so cool. So yeah, I hope to continue playing Supergirl for sure," she said.
The Flash is currently screening in theaters worldwide.
