The Dangers in My Heart may have seemed like just another rom-com, but it quickly became one of the standouts of the Spring 23 season. In fact, less than a year after its first season ended, The Dangers in My Heart Season 2 is coming in January, and it just got a new trailer.
Along with the new trailer, it was also revealed that fans can look forward to another anime. Specifically, the Tsuiyaba spinoff series will also soon get the anime treatment.
The Dangers in My Heart Tsuiyaba Comics Will Also Get Animated
Spring 23 saw lots of big anime like Oshi no Ko and Demon Slayer. The Dangers in My Heart is another show that became a huge success. It even became the bestselling series in its programming block.
Thanks to the show’s success, the second season was quickly greenlit and soon entered production. Surprisingly, the new season won’t be the new anime project that fans can look forward to.
As a treat for manga readers, series creator Norio Sakurai releases short stories on his X (formerly Twitter) account in a spinoff titled Tsuiyaba. Soon, fans can look forward to an animated version of these short stories.
On the show’s official X account, it was confirmed that the Tsuiyaba stories will get an anime.
There are not a lot of details yet, but this anime will likely be made by Shin-Ei Animation as an OVA series.
What was revealed is that parts of this new anime will be released on December 10 during the special event happening in LINE CUBE SHIBUYA, Tokyo.

The Dangers in My Heart Season 2 Gets New Trailer Ahead of January 2024 Release
For those who can’t wait for a proper follow-up, it won’t be long now until The Dangers in My Heart Season 2 will begin airing.
As the show’s premiere is just some months away, a new trailer for the season was revealed that shows off the two main characters, Kyotaro Ichikawa and Anna Yamada.

As previously mentioned, the next season brings back the voice cast from Season 1. Studio Shin-Ei Animation (of Teasing Master Takagi-san fame) is also returning to animate the next season.
The Dangers in My Heart Season 2 will premiere in January 2024. For now, there’s no word yet on a specific release date.
