Fall 23 has begun, meaning fans can expect lots of new premieres in the coming weeks. One of the interesting Fall 23 anime is The Apothecary Diaries, and it recently revealed more new cast members and its theme songs.

This upcoming anime also has a new trailer that hypes up the anime, as well as previews of the opening and ending songs.

The Apothecary Diaries Shares More New Voice Cast Members

Previously, it was revealed that The Apothecary Diaries' main character, Maomao, is voiced by Aoi Yuuki, the popular VA who is best known for her roles as Madoka in Madoka Magica and Tsuyu in My Hero Academia.

She is joined by Takeo Otsuka, another VA who recently became popular for his role as Aqua Hoshino in Oshi no Ko.

Now, 13 new voice cast members have been revealed, many of whom are well-known among anime lovers. Here’s the complete list of new VAs in the anime’s cast:

  • Katsuyuki Konishi (Kamina in Gurren Lagann) as Gaoshun
  • Atsumi Tanezaki (Anya Forger in Spy x Family) as Gyokuyo
  • Yui Ishikawa (Mikasa in Attack on Titan) as Lihua
  • Hina Kino (Hanako Honda in Asobi Asobase) as Lishu
  • Yuko Kaida (Tsukuyo in Gintama) as Ah-Duo
  • Megumi Han (Kana Arima in Oshi no Ko) as Meimei
  • Ami Koshimizu (Holo in Spice and Wolf) as Pairin
  • Hiroki Nanami (Hao Asakura in Shaman King) as Joka
  • Kimiko Saito (Rem in Death Note) as Yarite Babaa
  • Hiroshi Yanaka (Naraku in InuYasha) as Luomen
  • Kenji Akabane (Shinichi Sakurai in Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!) as Lihaku
  • Misaki Kuno (Hawk in The Seven Deadly Sins) as Xiaolan
  • Mitsuaki Kanuka (Mukasa in Terror in Resonance) as Yabu Isha

The Apothecary Diaries Reveals Opening and Ending Themes Ahead of Release

Along with the cast, the show’s opening song was also previewed. Titled Hana ni Natte (Become a Flower in English), the song is performed by the Japanese band Ryokuoushoku Shakai.

The band has performed several anime songs over the years, including My Hero Academia Season 4’s second ending song, as well as the Yashahime ending theme.

Also previewed in the trailer is the ending theme Aikotoba (Password in English) by Aina the End, the singer of Gundam: Witch from Mercury's second ED.

Instead of releasing early this month, The Apothecary Diaries is scheduled to release on October 21. On the flip side, the show’s first three episodes will be released on the 21st.
