The 100 Girlfriends might just be the most ridiculous anime that’s coming later this year thanks to its title and premise. To further hype it up, The 100 Girlfriends anime got a new trailer that highlights one of the main girls.
This new trailer was released on the EMOTION Label Channel on YouTube, and it showcases this new character along with the popular VA that plays her.
While this isn’t the longest trailer out there, it’s not the first one as previous promo videos have also been released that highlighted the other girls.
The 100 Girlfriends Highlights One Out of 100 Girls in New Trailer
Previously, The 100 Girlfriends shared three trailers that each highlighted a main girl in the protagonist’s ridiculously huge harem.
The first three girls highlighted included Hakari Hanazono, Karane Inda, and Shizuka Yoshimoto.
Hakari and Karane are the first two girlfriends that protagonist Rentarou Aijou gets, with Shizuka following soon after.
Now, a new trailer was revealed that highlights the fourth girlfriend named Nano Eiai. You can check out the new trailer here:
As with most harem anime, each girlfriend follows one of the popular archetypes. For instance, Karane is the obligatory tsundere while Shizuka is the incredibly shy girl.
The new trailer reveals that Nano is the cold kuudere – think Rei Ayanami from Neon Genesis Evangelion or Yuki Nagato in The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.
Also highlighted in the trailer is her VA, Asami Seto, who is best known for voicing Nobara Kugisaki in Jujutsu Kaisen, Raphtalia in The Rising of the Shield Hero, and Chihaya in Chihayafuru.

Yes, There Are Actually 100 Girls in The 100 Girlfriends
Harem romance is a popular anime genre, but The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You pushes the genre to its limit.
Instead of having five or so girls in his harem, protagonist Rentarou will eventually get 100 girls to fall for him because of an error made by the God of Love that he prayed to.
While the anime won’t feature all 100 girlfriends (as the manga has only gotten up to the 20s), the sheer number of girls that will fall for him is ridiculous, even by harem anime standards.
In a way, you can think of this anime as The Quintessential Quintuplets on steroids, at least because it is being made by Bibury Animation Studios, the studio behind Quintuplets’ second season and movie.
The 100 Girlfriends anime will release its first episode on October 8, 2023.
