We already know the fate of most of the characters in Avengers: Infinity War. But what about those who were supposed to be there but mysteriously vanished? Tessa Thompson has finally confirmed what happened to Valkyrie after Thor's ship was attacked by Thanos in the opening scene.
The Russo Brothers have already confirmed that Valkyrie managed to jump ship right before chaos ensued in Infinity War. Nevertheless, fans wonder if Thompson's character actually survived the Mad Titan's snap or if she has been turned into the dust. The Creed 2 actress addressed the issue with an awesome response on her official Twitter account.
It's good to know that Valkyrie is doing well. So what are the chances that the Asgardian warrior will return to help the heroes in Avengers 4? Thompson has remained mum on the subject. Nevertheless, we are happy that Valkyrie wasn't one of Thanos' victims in Infinity War.
We might not be sure if she will pop up in Avengers 4 but we can guarantee that Thompson is currently having fun working with her Thor: Ragnarok co-star Chris Hemsworth once again. Hemsworth recently shared an awesome picture showing the two actors on the set of the Men In Black reboot. Hopefully, the new film will be let us see some Thor/Valkyrie moments once again.
Avengers 4 is currently undergoing a few reshoots. Unfortunately, there have been no updates on whether Thompson has been spotted on the set. However, it is still possible that Valkyrie's return is being kept a secret. It's either that or the character will show up in a different Marvel Cinematic Universe flick in the future.
Thompson's next project is the highly anticipated sequel Creed 2, which also stars Black Panther actor Michael B. Jordan. The film will premiere on November 21. Avengers 4 is scheduled for release on May 3, 2019.
