Super Junior Yesung Reveals His Favorite Band

While working on his solo music, Super Junior Yesung also shared his favorite band in the world.

In a new interview with NME in February, the Here I Am singer revealed that he is a huge fan of The Rolling Stones. He also spoke about his memory of Mick Jagger listening to one of Super Junior's songs.

"He did an interview where he mentioned 'Walkin' by Super Junior, and a lot of our members aren't so familiar [with The Rolling Stones], so I was the only one who was very, very surprised and happy that he had recognized us," he went on.

Like The Rolling Stones, Yesung's boy group also became South Korea's own Rolling Stones. Although it lost some of its members, Super Junior continues to promote as a group since it debuted in 2005.

The group has already brought home hundreds of awards, with four recognitions remaining pending this year. Super Junior has been nominated in four categories at the upcoming Seoul Music Awards: Daesang Award and Bonsang Award for The Road: Winter for Spring, Popularity Award, and K-wave Award.
