Ahsoka is one of the most highly anticipated shows of the year but what can we expect about Darth Vader? Rosario Dawson has addressed the return of Hayden Christensen who is reportedly reprising his iconic role in the upcoming Star Wars series.

Rosario Dawson Comments on Possible Hayden Christensen Cameo in Ahsoka

Several reports have confirmed that Hayden Christensen will make an appearance in Ahsoka. However, Rosario Dawson is now playing coy about the actor's role in the Star Wars show.

In a new interview with Total Film magazine, Dawson admitted that she is thrilled to see Hayden Christensen in action (via GamesRadar).

"It’s pretty remarkable and exciting," she said. "We were teenagers, and then I saw him right immediately afterwards go into this universe."

"I never could have fathomed that I would have had any part of that, besides just being a fan of his, and being really proud of him," Dawson continued.

She then expressed her excitement about seeing Christensen in Obi-Wan Kenobi.

"It’s just been really cool that at this moment, I’m joining it, and he’s been able to come back and also get embraced by the Star Wars family in a way that I think is much deserved," Dawson said.

But is Hayden Christensen showing up in Ahsoka? Dawson chose her words carefully.

"It’s definitely one of those things that would be super cool if he was [in Ahsoka], but I’m just really grateful that we’re in the same universe," she said.

For now, it's unclear if Christensen will appear in Ahsoka or if Rosario Dawson is just avoiding the truth. Nevertheless, we're all looking forward to the new Star Wars series this August.

Ahsoka will also star Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader, Eman Esfandi as Ezra Bridger, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, and Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn.

The series is set to be the first posthumous release for the late Ray Stevenson. The Thor: Ragnarok star, who passed away in May this year, plays Baylan Skoll in the show.

Ahsoka will consist of eight episodes and is finally set to premiere on Disney+ on August 23, 2023.
