Star Wars: Mark Hamill Talks About his Silliest Fight with Carrie Fisher

Carrie Fisher may be gone, she manages to leave behind a legacy of crazy quirky stories. Her onscreen twin brother, Mark Hamill was asked on Twitter about his silliest fight with Fisher, and he (or rather Fisher) absolutely delivers.

Hamill shared what had happened when it was revealed that Luke and Leia were actually siblings. Hamill asked if that meant Luke was royalty, and Fisher absolutely denied it in her own fashion.

Though a lot of people may know her for playing Princess Leia, Fisher is also known for being a very talented writer and script doctor. She has a fantastic sense of humor and was even known to have done a couple of fixes to the Original Trilogy scripts.

While a lot of people were expecting Leia to be written off of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Lucasfilm wisely kept all of her scenes intact for the movie. They could have easily had her killed off in the first half of the film, but then we never would have gotten the fantastic Skywalker reunion on Crait. Not to mention Fisher's last line adds that little spark of hope for the future of the Resistance.

Fisher will be appearing one last time in Star Wars Episode IX via some unused footage they took of her from The Force Awakens and TLJ, but I'm really concerned if that's enough to give Fisher (and Leia) a proper sendoff. I would have honestly been fine with Leia dying offscreen given the circumstances, but hopefully, J.J. Abrams and Chris Terrio know what they're doing.

Catch Star Wars Episode IX in theaters Dec. 20.
