Marbles, Glass Bridge, and Circle of Trust were the games in Episodes 6-9. There were also some tests where players were given the chance to choose who to eliminate.

There were 63 players left before Marbles. After Marbles, only 31 players were left. The remaining contestants were then given another test, where they would choose a player they wanted to stay in the game. The remaining contestants who weren’t selected were eliminated.

After that test, there were only 20 players left. The next game was Glass Bridge, and after the game, there were only 12 players left. Another test was given which resulted in the elimination of three players.

The next game was Circle of Trust, where six out of the nine players would be eliminated. In Circle of Trust, all players will be blindfolded. If a player is tapped on the shoulder, they must remove their blindfold, take the gift box, and place it on the desk of the player they want to eliminate.

That player will be eliminated unless they can guess who gave them the box. If their guess is correct, the player who gave them the box will be the one eliminated.

Sam (Player 016), Amanda (Player 019), Rose (Player 051), Ashley (Player 278), Mai (Player 287), Hallie (Player 355), Roland (Player 418), Elliot (Player 4292), and Phill (Player 451) were the ones who played the game, and out of the nine of them, only three players remain.

Phill (Player 451), Sam (Player 016), and Mai (Player 287) are the last three contestants in the game.

Phill Cain is a quadball gold medalist who likes any game involving speed and reflexes. His strategy was to befriend as many people as possible.

Phill studied psychology in college, which is why he feels as if he understands how people’s brains work more than most and is good at reading a room.

In Circle of Trust, the gift box was placed twice on Phill’s desk, and he was able to correctly guess who placed them, resulting in the elimination of those players.

Sam Lantz is an artist and he loves to paint, read, and play video games. His main strategy was to keep a low profile at the start of the competition. Now, Sam is among the finalists for Squid Game: The Challenge, and he says that he will “definitely do everything I can to win.”

Mai Whelan is an immigration adjudicator, and her job involves analyzing people. She reads people’s faces and observes their eye movements, the way they sit, and how they look at her.

Like with Phill, Mai was able to correctly guess who placed the gift box on her desk, which resulted in that player’s elimination. Mai says that “the game is all about self-preservation”, and she will “have to do what I have to do to survive.”

So, who among the three will take home the $4.56M prize? We will all find out in the final episode of Squid Game: The Challenge, which will be released on December 6 on Netflix.
