With the new episode’s premiere happening tomorrow, a new preview for Spy x Family Episode 13 has been shared online, and it reveals the episode title and gives fans a sneak peek at what to expect.
The preview consists of new images that were shared via the show’s official Twitter account.
Accompanying the new images are more details about the highly anticipated next episode.
These images mostly consist of the Forger family, with two of them featuring fan favorite Anya Forger.
One of the images is a cute depiction of Anya, while another shows her with a meme-worthy face.
Spy x Family is an anime by Wit Studio and CloverWorks that’s based on the manga of the same name by Tatsuya Endo and serialized in Jump+.
Thanks to its popularity, the manga received an anime series adaptation that runs for two seasons with a split-cour schedule.
This means the first half of the season aired in Spring 2022 while the next will be broadcast in Fall 2022.
The series follows Twilight, a Westalian spy who is tasked by the government to spy on the neighboring country of Ostania to prevent a war between the two nations.
As part of his undercover mission, Twilight must investigate a high-ranking Ostanian official.
To do this, he takes on the alias of Loid Forger, adopts the orphan Anya, and marries city hall clerk Yor Briar.
Unbeknownst to him, Yor is secretly a deadly assassin called Thorn Princess.
Meanwhile, Anya is secretly aware of her new father and mother’s identities as she is a telepath.
Along with the images shared on Twitter, two other preview screenshots were shared on Animate Times, one of which features Twilight’s handler, Sylvia Sherwood.
While the preview did not reveal much in the way of story details, it did reveal that Spy x Family Episode 13's title is "Project Apple."
Episode 13 will air in Japan on October 1 at 11 PM JST on six TV Tokyo stations.
The episode will then be released on various streaming platforms in Japan, including Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, Netflix, and more.
Meanwhile, Spy x Family will be released on October 1 at 8:30 AM PT / 11:30 AM ET on Crunchyroll in several regions, including the US.
