Spy x Family fans will not have to wait too long now. That’s because the Spy x Family Code: White anime film finally has an official North American release date.
After the film’s 2024 US release was announced in December, the highly anticipated Spy x Family movie is finally coming to North American cinemas this April.
What makes this even more exciting is that it will feature a brand-new story that should be fresh even for manga readers.
What You Need to Know About the Spy x Family Movie’s Story
The Spy x Family anime began in the Spring 22 season, and it has since become a massive hit around the world. Thanks to its success, the show was quickly renewed for a new season and got a film project announced.
Spy x Family Code: White was announced way back in December 2022, and it features an original story by the manga’s creator, Tatsuya Endo.
In this new adventure, the Forger family trio goes on a holiday trip to help Anya learn a recipe that can help her get a Stella.
Things don’t go as planned though, as Anya gets involved in an event that could ignite a major conflict.
Spy x Family Code: White US and North American Release Date Revealed
The film was initially released in Japan on December 22, 2023. It quickly became a huge box office hit as it topped the domestic box office chart for three weeks.
As for its international release, it was previously revealed that the Code: White movie will come to North American cinemas sometime in 2024. At the time, there was no date revealed.
Now though, the Spy x Family anime film is confirmed to be released in North American cinemas on April 19, 2024.

Is Spy x Family Code: White Getting an English Dub Cinema Release?
For now, there’s no word yet on which cinemas in the US and Canada the movie will be screened in. Fans should expect more info about the screening venues soon.
What is confirmed is that Spy x Family Code: White will be screened in North America with a Japanese and an English dub. For the English version, the anime series’ dub cast will likely return.
Having two language options isn’t surprising given that many anime film releases get two language options in the US. Such is the case with Hayao Miyazaki’s The Boy and the Heron.
