Spider-Man Far from Home: Another New Photo has Mysterio and Peter Parker Teaming Up

While Spider-Man comic fans know Mysterio as a villain, Spider-Man: Far from Home is making Quentin Beck out to be a superhero, and Spidey has to team up with him to fight these creatures called "The Elementals." We have a photo of the two characters supposedly meeting from last week, and now we have a new one with them probably being briefed on a mission by SHIELD.

Though Mysterio is being played out as a hero this time around, a lot of fans are convinced that he's the main bad guy and that he was the man behind the Elementals this whole time. As for why he does it, it could be said that Mysterio has a Riddler-like need for attention and that he wants the fame and glory that comes with being a superhero.

Of course, this is just speculation from my end. I'm hoping that writers Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers actually have a story for this film that nobody can predict—just like with Endgame.

For now, Sony is waiting for the Avengers: Endgame hype to die down before they release a new trailer for Far from Home. With the movie set after the events of Endgame, I imagine it's going to be hard to continue marketing the film after the status quo has been greatly changed in the MCU.

Hopefully we get the new trailer soon—maybe sometime late May.
