Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse Producers Weigh In On Potential Release Date Delay
Phil Lord and Chris Miller are currently promoting The Afterparty but they also discussed their next big project. When asked about the possible delay of Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, Phil Lord had an interesting response.
"I would say that just like we're going to take the time necessary to make Beyond the Spider-Verse great," Lord told ComicBook.com.
Miller agreed, adding, "And we won't back into a release date that doesn't fit."
It certainly sounds like the producers are open to the possibility of delaying Beyond the Spider-Verse's release to make sure that the film lives up to fans' expectations. With that in mind, we're already expecting a new announcement about the sequel's release date in the next few weeks.
The cast members of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse have already confirmed that they have yet to begin recording their lines for the sequel.
