Meanwhile, Ruth is blooming with a newfound love with Pike. Asha remains haunted by her past. Layton and Zarah get into a heated argument when Layton found out about the experiments their baby went through, the same one used on Josie which worked on her. As for Roche, he wakes up in pain after he knew that his wife did not make it in the drawers and he wanted revenge on Wilford, tricking Bess into helping him.

Alex realized that Wilford could help them solve the problem of the derailed cars, however, Roche already injected Wilford with a drug from the drawers, leaving him on the brink of death, and Layton got there in time to save his life. He got immediate medical attention and hopes are up that he survives even when he is the archenemy of Layton.
