What Caused Frieren's Smug Face?
In Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Episode 12, Fern is looking for a gift to give Stark for his 18th birthday. Frieren's suggestion is... less than appreciated.
Frieren unburies a potion she's had for some time. She tells Fern that the potion only melts clothes without harming one's skin. She adds that men are happy just receiving something like that.
Although Frieren has shown little interest in sex and romance so far, her smug face shows that she does have a mischievous humor and an understanding of sexual relationships.
Fern is not entertained, and she proceeds to empty the bottle on Frieren, giving her a taste of her own medicine.

Fans are loving Smug Frieren, and some think that Smug Frieren is the best Frieren.
