Shang-Chi Star Florian Munteanu Joins Vikings: Valhalla Season 3

Florian Munteanu has nabbed another huge role in a popular franchise. The Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings star has been cast in the third season of Vikings: Valhalla!

According to Deadline, Florian Munteanu will be joining Vikings: Valhalla Season 3. The Creed 2 actor has been cast as George Maniakes, a prominent real-life general of the Byzantine Empire who served during the 11th century. It's perfect casting considering that the general, who was also known as Gyrgir, was often described as a giant who was very tall and well built.

But why is Florian Munteanu only appearing in the third season when Season 2 has yet to air? It has already been confirmed that the second season of Vikings: Valhalla has completed production. Considering that Munteanu is just about to start shooting for the series, it would make sense that his character will only appear in Season 3.
