Sadie Sink Feels Awful As Stranger Things Comes To An End

Stranger Things is obviously one of the shows that makes Netflix a successful streaming service right now. With the narrative and characters being so well-cherished, it’s not just the fans who are having a hard time conditioning themselves to let go of the drama series. Sadie Sink, who has portrayed Max Mayfield since season two, expressed her sadness as the final season is soon to premiere.

In her recent appearance on the Today show, Sink reflected her experience about growing up on the set with the cast and highlighted what it will be like leaving the show behind. “We know that it’s happening and that it’s the last season, so it’s going to be emotional I’m sure. Spoiler-free, just with the way my character ended in Season 4, I have no idea what is going to happen. But I’ll be there. It’s going to be awful. It’s going to be horrible.”

She continued, “These kids, this entire cast and crew, it’s family. People say that all the time, but I genuinely mean it. And to think that we have to say goodbye to that security and knowing that we’re going to be seeing each other for another season? It’s scary and sad, but I think it’s exciting to kind of move on to the next chapter, I guess.”

What will happen in the last season of Stranger Things remains a mystery, even Sink doesn’t know where the story is heading, although she and her co-stars have some ideas, it doesn't guarantee anything. According to the Duffer brothers, Netflix executives were in tears after hearing their pitch for Stranger Things season 5. This is a factor in why Sink and fans have already started preparing for a highly emotional finale. It will have at least 8 episodes, and given the size of season 5, it seems likely that the final episodes of Stranger Things will be rather extensive.

Aside from Sink, the Netflix series features Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, and Noah Schnapp, who all have found their fame and grew fondly together after sharing the screen for years.
