Ryan Reynolds 'Leaks' Pokemon: Detective Pikachu Movie and The Internet Loves It

Has Ryan Reynolds lost his mind?! He just leaked Pokemon: Detective Pikachu movie on YouTube! What's going on?!

Well, that's probably what most fans were thinking until they clicked on the link themselves. It turns out that Reynolds is on a whole new level of trolling as the acclaimed actor just gave fans an hour and 30 minutes worth of Pikachu dancing.

It's honestly one of the greatest pranks ever pulled by a celebrity and movie studio. It's a shame that this joke wasn't done in April Fool's Day since it would have been the only funny joke in that day. As it stands, there were no funny jokes in April Fool's Day and anyone who thought they were funny are wrong.

The fact that these film's animators took the time to animate a dancing Pikachu shows the amount of effort they are putting into this film's advertising. While some would call it annoying, fans of Pokemon and Reynolds are probably having a blast with this. At the least, it's a good thing that everyone loved the trailers since this could have gone south like Sonic and we would not be getting a cute animation like this.

Pokemon: Detective Pikachu comes later this week on May 10.
