Rumor: Iron Fist Season Two Will Be Shorter but Better

It's no secret that Marvel's Iron Fist is the least-loved of the Netflix lineup, with everything from Daredevil and Jessica Jones doing better than it. While it does have fans, there was something lacking about the first season, something that the second season will hopefully fill now that The Defenders has finished.

Thanks to a now deleted Reddit post (via MCU Exchange), we now have a rumor that suggests a shorter second season for the show. If true, it proves that Netflix and Marvel believe in quality over quantity, something everyone can agree is a good thing.

According to the supposed leaker, the second season of Iron Fist will only have 10 episodes and has ironed out some of the first season's kinks. However, it's noted that Colleen Wing is still the star of the show, while Danny Rand just ends up being less annoying than he was before. It's a start I suppose, though fans should take it with a grain of salt.

Fans hoping to see Iron Fist's classic costume will have to keep dreaming for now, as the rumor claims that a part of it will be an easter egg for the second season. It seems like it will be a while before we see him wear the goofy bandana mask.

Iron Fist is currently streaming on Netflix. No release date for the second season has been revealed, though Danny Rand will be appearing in Luke Cage this year.
