Rumor Debunked: X-Men: Dark Phoenix Hasn’t Been Pulled From Fox’s Slate

X-Men fans have had a lot of anxiety over the future of 21st Century Fox's film slate in the face of the studio's upcoming deal with the Walter Disney company. Fox might have had three X-Men films (New Mutants, Deadpool 2 and Dark Phoenix) set for release this year, but the studio's pushed back the premiere of Dark Phoenix and New Mutants to 2019 because of alleged reshoots.

Now, it seems like fans have noticed that Dark Phoenix has gone missing from Fox's official movies site. Though fans aren't quite sure, some believe that Dark Phoenix was listed on Fox's site only to be taken down, a move that's been making everyone worry that Fox intentionally removed the film from its release slate.

However, Screen Rant says this might not be the case at all. According to the publication, Dark Phoenix and a few other future Fox films were never really listed on the studio's website. The film is still slated to premiere on February 19. Dark Phoenix's absence from Fox's site isn't an indicator of whether or not the film has been canceled at all.

Fox has simply been remaining low key about Dark Phoenix, holding out on the film's marketing campaign while the production continues with its reshoots. However, while the studio hasn't released anything official for the film, there's been a few leaked posters and figures online. Fox also screened the first trailer for the film at CineEurope last month.

Fans don't have to worry at all. Dark Phoenix seems to be doing alright.
