Robb Stark Actor Richard Madden is Wanted for the Next James Bond

Daniel Craig has had a good run, but he's looking to exit the role of James Bond after Bond 25. A lot of debate has been going around online on who should replace him, and rumor has it that producer Barbara Broccoli has a certain Game of Thrones actor in mind to take the role.

According to The Sun, a source close to Broccoli said that the producer is currently planning on offering the role to Rob Stark actor Richard Madden. The source states that Madden has become a "serious" candidate for the role and that he is "on top of Barbara's list."

It's no mystery that the Bond films are very physically demanding, so it would make sense that they would want to cast someone a bit younger to take over the role. No doubt Daniel Craig has done a lot of amazing work ever since he played the character in Casino Royale, but like every Bond actor, his replacement was just inevitable.

After playing Stark in Game of Thrones, Madden had landed the lead in Medici: Masters of Florence. He also played the role of the prince in Disney's live-action adaptation of Cinderella. Admittedly, the roles don't get as much attention as GoT, but landing the Bond role could prove career-changing for someone like Madden.

So far, we're not close to finding out who the next Bond is. Besides Madden, other fan favorite choices have come out to be Tom Hiddleston and Idris Elba. Henry Cavill had also put his name in the cap, but after getting cast in Netflix's Witcher series, I guess he would be too busy to take on the role of Bond as well.
