Star Wars: The Last Jedi may have been a colossal failure to some fans but there are still people who enjoyed director Rian Johnson's unorthodox take on the Skywalker saga and looking back on it, there's no doubt that Episode VIII made use of a different formula and it totally showed with the film having a different feel to it. The film just celebrated its third anniversary and unsurprisingly, fans are still talking about the divisive entry to the Star Wars film series.
Say what you will about TLJ but despite its convoluted plot and overall feel, it was still a visual masterpiece and you can't deny that. I understand that it's not everyone's cup of tea, especially the longtime followers of the saga but I don't think it was that horrible of an entry and that is why there are still fans who defend it to this day.
Meanwhile, the finale episode of The Mandalorian Season 2 hits Disney+ this Friday.
