The Quintessential Quintuplets’ story may technically be over, but thanks to the series’ popularity, new projects continue to be revealed. Today, The Quintessential Quintuplets announced that there will be five new projects to celebrate the anime’s fifth anniversary.
These projects were initially teased via the show’s official X (formerly Twitter) account with an hourly countdown.
Once the countdown ended, it was revealed that the anime is currently gearing up for new projects to celebrate its major milestone. Five new projects are coming, but only two have been revealed so far.
A Quintessential Quintuplets Exhibit Is Happening This December
The first of these anniversary projects is a Quintessential Quintuplets anime exhibit titled Engagement. As its name implies, this exhibit features a wedding theme.
As part of the exhibit’s reveal, the official key visual for it was unveiled. This visual features the five Nakano siblings in wedding dresses – fitting given how the story’s central mystery is which of them will marry Fuutarou.
Along with the visual, details about the exhibit were also shared, including its venue at the Tokyo Anime Center in Shibuya.
This isn’t the first exhibit for the anime as Quintuplets also got an event in Tokyo last year that featured life-sized statues of the Nakano siblings.
Just last September, the anime also had a special collaboration with JR Central for a stamp rally in select train stations in Aichi, including Nagoya Station.
The Engagement exhibit will open from December 22, 2023, to January 21, 2024. More details about what to expect inside will be revealed soon.

The Quintessential Quintuplets Anniversary Event Announced for April 2024
Shortly after the exhibit's reveal, the next anniversary project was announced. This second project is the official fifth-anniversary event that’s happening in Yokohama Arena from April 27 to 28, 2024.
The event’s first day will feature a film concert that will have a live orchestral performance of the anime’s soundtrack. Meanwhile, day 2 will feature the show’s main cast in a live stage event.
It’s interesting that some of the show’s fifth anniversary projects have been revealed now. After all, the show’s first season premiered in January 2019, so it’s still a bit early for the actual anniversary.
Still, this is great news for fans as there’s still a lot to look forward to even if creator Negi Haruba is busy with his new project.
For now, there’s no word yet on the third, fourth, and fifth projects that are part of the anniversary celebration.
