The Quintessential Quintuplets may be over, but creator Negi Haruba’s new work is still ongoing. Soon, it will be introduced to a bigger audience as the Go! Go! Loser Ranger! anime finally got a release window.
Initially announced last year, the Go! Go! Loser Ranger! anime got a new trailer today that showed fans their first look at this intriguing new superhero anime.
This trailer also shares the show’s main voice cast members, along with the series’ 2024 release.
Negi Haruba’s Latest Work Is a Unique Twist on the Ranger Formula
Negi Haruba is a manga artist who is best known for creating The Quintessential Quintuplets, the popular harem rom-com manga that was adapted into a hit anime.
After the Quintuplets manga ended, Haruba followed it up with Go! Go! Loser Ranger!, a manga that’s far from a harem series. Instead, it’s a superhero story that puts a unique twist on the Super Sentai formula.
The series is set in a world that’s defended by the Dragon Rangers, a group that protects the world from a Villainous Army from outer space that attacked 13 years ago.
Unbeknownst to the world, the army was defeated by the Dragon Rangers just one year after their attack.
The remaining army members have essentially been subjugated and have been forced to crank out a new monster every Sunday for the Rangers to defeat. Soon, one of these remaining members decides he’s had enough.

Go! Go! Loser Ranger! Anime Trailer Reveals 2024 Release
Haruba’s Go! Go! Loser Ranger! manga is currently serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine, though it’s not particularly popular outside Japan. That’s likely about to change with the upcoming anime by Yostar Pictures.
The anime adaptation is finally confirmed to be released sometime in 2024. Along with the release window reveal, a new trailer for it has also been shared. You can watch it here:
This trailer not only shows brand-new footage but also reveals the show’s main cast members. They include:
- Yusuke Kobayashi (Senku Ishigami in Dr. Stone) as Fighter D
- Daishi Kajita (Yukichi Fukuzawa in Bungou Stray Dogs Season 5) as Hibiki Sakurama
- Yumika Yano (Vivian Shamall in Why Raeliana Ended up at the Duke's Mansion) as Yumeko Suzukiri
There’s no word yet on a specific release date for the anime, though it’s likely that it will be released in Spring 2024 at the earliest. After all, its release date would’ve been revealed right now if it were a Winter 24 show.
