Queendom Puzzle will officially challenge several female K-pop idols to form a new project group.
Survival shows in the K-pop industry have been introducing new project groups to fans. One of the most famous shows, Queendom, already hailed MAMAMOO and WJSN as the winners of its first two seasons, respectively.
Its upcoming installment, Queendom Puzzle, will offer a different approach to introduce a new project girl group.
Queendom Puzzle Episode 1 Release Date
The Korea Times cited cable channel Mnet's statement regarding Queendom Puzzle on Tuesday, revealing the arrival of the survival show. According to the announcement, Queendom Puzzle episode 1 will air on June 13.
We will discover the best combination of the singers, just like putting a puzzle together," Mnet said.
The network also has a new teaser to confirm the arrival of the spin-off series.

Queendom Puzzle Participants
The first two installments of the Queendom series selected the best girl groups among the participants. But in Queendom Puzzle, members of the already-debuted K-pop girl groups will compete against one another but as groups.
Mnet confirmed that CLC's Jang Ye Eun, Lee Chae Yeon, former MOMOLAND member JooE, H1-KEY's Riina and Hwiseo, and Lovelyz's Kei are among the participants of the upcoming program.
The full lineup will be released on M Countdown on May 18 and 25.
Queendom Puzzle Emcee Revealed
In April, Queendom Puzzle's production team confirmed that Girls' Generation Taeyeon would return as the emcee. She previously did the role in Queendom 2 while acting as a Grand Master, who gives advice on performances.
"It is such an honor to be part of 'Queendom Puzzle,'" Taeyeon said. "I feel burdened, but I feel a sense of responsibility as well … I am already looking forward to seeing the legendary performances of female singers."
Meanwhile, the production team applauded Taeyeon as the K-pop idol had already expanded her career as an idol. Apart from being part of Girls' Generation, the Fine hitmaker is also promoting as a member of Girls' Generation-TTS and GOT the beat.
