Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are among the recipients of the human rights award from Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights. However, a royal biographer didn't think the Sussexes deserve the recognition.

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle's Human Rights Award A Mistake?

Kerry Kennedy chose the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for standing up against the alleged structural racism in the British monarchy. However, Prince Harry's biographer, Angela Levin, disagreed with the award.

For the Harry: A Biography of a Prince author, giving them the Ripple of Hope Award was a "colossal mistake."

"It just shows you that somebody just sees a program years ago and they actually believe everything about it," Levin said while speaking on GB News, Showbiz Cheat Sheet reported.

She added that Kennedy probably didn't watch Prince Harry and Markle's interview with Oprah Winfrey and alleged that there were "so may errors and lies" presented during the broadcast with "no proof."

“I think it’s appalling,” Levin continued. “Loads of people are really fed up and astonished by it. But that actually makes me feel sick that Harry, who was close to his father until he got married, felt that he could accept money and an award for trying to prove his family was racist with no proof. There’s zero proof.”

Prince Harry Is The Only British Royal Who Could Be Accused Of Racism?

Levin weighed in on the issue and claimed that if there is someone, who can be accused of racism in the British royal family, it will be the Duke of Sussex.

"The only person I know that had anything said about them being racist is Harry," she added. "Because he wore a swastika on his arm when he went to a fancy dress party."

British broadcast Piers Morgan echoed the same sentiment. In his opinion, Prince Harry is the only racist in the British royal family.

"I have met the royals many times and I don't believe they are racist at all," Morgan was quoted by Page Six as saying on Fox Nation's Tucker Carlson Today in April 2021.

"In fact, the only member of the royal family who has had to publicly apologize for being racist is Prince Harry, who a few years ago had to apologize after using a deeply offensive racist term about a Pakistani soldier, that he was working with. And he used other racial slurs as well in that story which was published by a British tabloid. Which may explain his hatred for the British tabloids."
