It may have been a short series, but Pokemon Concierge delighted fans with its charming story and animation. Soon, fans can expect to see more as Netflix ordered new episodes of Pokemon Concierge, which should mean season 2 is in the works.
The show’s renewal was announced by Netflix and The Pokemon Company through the official Pokemon X account. Its reveal came with a special visual featuring Haru and the ever-lovable Psyduck.
Given the show’s great reception, it’s not surprising that it got renewed for a new season.
Netflix Orders More Pokemon Concierge Episodes
Pokemon Concierge is a stop-motion animated series by dwarf studios, the Japanese studio behind Netflix’s Rilakkuma stop-motion shows. As such, this Pokemon series shares a similar look.
Unlike Pokemon Horizons, which takes place in the franchise’s typical setting, Concierge instead happens in a separate continuity. It follows Haru, who is the new concierge of a Pokemon resort.
Because of this premise, the series offers a relaxing time for viewers as it chronicles Haru as she learns how to relax as well. After all, as the series is set in a resort, Pokemon battles aren’t the show’s subject.
Thanks to its relaxing story and adorable stop-motion animation, Pokemon Concierge got a lot of praise following its premiere in late December 2023.
Just two months after its release, Netflix confirmed that more episodes of the series are on the way.
In a statement to Variety, series director Iku Ogawa teased that more Pokemon will be introduced in the coming episodes.
Aside from the confirmation of new episodes, there’s not much in the way of details regarding the series’ continuation.

Pokemon Concierge Season 2 Release Date Predictions
Any kind of animation is difficult, but stop-motion animation might be among the hardest to do given how long it takes to make them.
For reference, Pokemon Concierge only has four episodes that are around 15-20 minutes each. Other shows by dwarf studios are even shorter.
Given this, it will likely take over a year before we see Pokemon Concierge season 2 get released.
The two Rilakkuma shows were released with a gap of three years. Dwarf studios’ Pokemon series might not take as long if it only gets four more episodes in its new season.
Still, chances are that we’ll see them get released in 2025 at the earliest, though 2026 may be a safer bet if they want to extend the new season’s episode count.
