Does Inspector Gesicht Die?
Yes, Inspector Gesicht dies in Pluto. He was one of the last surviving top-of-the-line robots on Pluto, but he was done in by a kid robot from Persia, which reminded him of Robita, his adopted robot son.
Gesicht was created by Dr. Hoffman, and his body is made up of a zeronium alloy that can withstand powerful magnetic radiation that can screw up his artificial intelligence.
But a single blast from Ali’s cluster cannon put a hole in Gesicht’s body.
Does Atom Die?
Atom died from fighting Pluto, but he was then revived by Dr. Tenma by installing Gesicht’s memory chip into his system. No matter how Dr. Ochanomizu tried to save Atom in his way, he didn’t wake up.
But through Dr. Tenma’s genius, Atom wakes up filled with hatred, which was brought upon by Gesicht’s memory chip. Atom became the last surviving greatest robot in the world by the end of Pluto.

There are a lot of characters in Pluto, and some of them died and survived.
The greatest threat in Pluto was Dr. Abullah and his hatred towards robots, brought about by the tragic deaths of his family during the 39th Central Asian War between the United States of Thracia and the Persian Kingdom.
Dr. Abullah’s hatred brought not only Pluto to life but also Goji, who created Bora.
Here are some of the characters who died in Pluto:
- Mont Blanc dies in the first episode of Pluto. He was murdered by Pluto, and his body was found in the middle of a wildfire. His remnants were arranged in a bizarre way, complete with makeshift horns placed atop his head.
- North No. 2 dies after fighting Pluto. He didn’t want to die at all, since he wanted to live life anew as Paul Duncan’s butler.
- Brando dies after facing Pluto on his own. He didn’t want to die for the sake of his wife, Mineh, and their adopted children.
- Hercules dies after fighting Pluto as well. His death was witnessed by Epsilon, who was watching their fight unfold in the sky.
- Epsilon dies while protecting Wasily from Pluto. His body exploded, making it look like he turned into a shooting star in the light of the day.
- Abullah dies amid a bombing attack. But before he died, he asked Dr. Tenma to make use of a certain portion of his brain to keep on going. Dr. Tenma then created a robot filled with Abullah’s hatred. He was later referred to as Goji.
